- After I sign up, how long does it take before I can start using the service?
Once you sign up and we receive payment, you can start receiving calls within minutes. Most customers choose to have their automated attendant professionally recorded by one of our voice talents. The turnaround on recording is two to three days.
- Can I cancel at any time?
Please log into the support area to cancel your service. Cancellations occurring before 5 PM Eastern of the 30th day of service qualify for a refund.
- Can I change my credit card information after I sign up?
PowrFone does not store your credit card information. You may log in to your GoogleCheckout or Paypal account to change your credit card information.
- Can I pay by check or money order?
In addition to accepting credit and debit cards via Google Checkout and Paypal, we also accept payment by money order. When paying by money order be sure to select the three month payment option. Single month payments are not accepted.
- Do I get charged when I check my messages from a phone?
When calling to listen to voice messages, the minutes used will count toward your monthly plan.
- Do I need to change my local and long distance carrier?
PowrFone handles your inbound calls and can supplement or replace your current telephone service. It is also possible to move your existing local and toll free number to PowrFone if you wish.
- Does PowrFone require a contract?
PowrFone is a pay-as-you-go service. You pay for one month at a time--or more if you like discounts. There are no contracts.
- How will I receive my monthly statement?
Invoices are sent via email monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on the selected payment type. The email includes a PDF version of the invoice for your record keeping.
- Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes, with our 30 day money back guarantee, if you decide to to cancel within 30 days, you will be refunded the prorated usage fees for the unused minutes. Setup fees are not refundable.
- Is there a record of incoming calls?
You may view your call records at any time by logging into the PowrFone portal at myPowrFone.com.

6) Most customers opt to answer their phone number(s) with a professionally recorded automated attendant (to experience an automated attendant, try calling your telephone company or mobile carrier--almost all large businesses have one) that allows the caller to listen to recorded information and enter an extension to speak with someone.
7) When a PowrFone call rings on your phone, most customers opt to show the number that was dialed, the PowrFone number, instead of the caller ID. This allows the call recipient to quickly identify that the call is for business purposes.
8) Anytime a call is made to your PowrFone number, a call record is generated capturing the time, caller ID, dialed number and duration of call. You have access to these records 24/7 at myPowrFone.com web site and can use them to bill your clients, track advertising response rates, etc.

- Can PowrFone automatically create tasks in Highrise?
We will provide the ability for PowrFone to create tasks in Highrise based on auto-attendant menu selections. For example, callers to a tech support department could press 1 to request a call back instead of waiting on hold. PowrFone would create a task for the tech support department showing the callback request.
- Can voicemail messages be stored in Highrise?
We are investigating this functionality to hope to provide it in a future release of PowrFone.

- Can you transcribe my voicemail messages and enter them into Highrise?
With PowrFone, you can specify a phone number to transfer to after a ring-no-answer. This phone number can be a Spinvox or Simulscribe mailbox. You can expect more extensive integration in future releases of PowrFone.
- Since PowrFone can create a new contact in Highrise, can it also tag a contact?
Yes, an example would be to tag all callers to a direct response campaign 800#, with a campaign ID.
- What is required to integrate Highrise with PowrFone?
Two things must happen for Highrise PowrFone integration to occur. First, you must order the Highrise Adapter with your service and second, login to the myPowrfone.com and add your Highrise token to your profile. Once these steps are complete, PowrFone will begin syncing with your Highrise data on a nightly basis and sending call data to Highrise.
- What is the benefit of integrating Highrise with PowrFone?
Highrise is a powerful contact management system. When integrated with PowrFone, all of your inbounds are logged into Highrise. The caller id is used to match the caller with a Highrise contact, if found note describing the time and duration of the call are added to that contact as a note. If there is not a caller id match, then PowrFone will automatically create one--later whomever they spoke with can update the record with their name and other data. This is just one example and really the tip of the iceberg.
- Can I have multiple toll free or local numbers?
Any number and combination of local or toll free numbers are possible. Many of our customers choose to display the dialed number so that they can answer the call with a specific greeting or, when using a mobile phone, identify a call as business or personal.
- Can I request a specific (custom) phone number?
Yes, once you have signed up for service, you can submit a support ticket describing the custom 800 number you are seeking and our support staff will determine if one is available and contact you within one business day. Custom local numbers are not available.
- Can I transfer my existing local or toll free number to your service?
Yes you can. We can arrange to have your existing local or toll free number transferred to us so you can enjoy PowrFone's superior services. This process usually takes 10 -14 business days, depending on your provider. Meanwhile, we will provide you with a temporary number so that you may begin setting up your auto-attendant. There is a one-time transfer fee for each number transfer.
- Can I use my existing local number with PowrFone?
Yes, you can have your local phone company forward your local number to your toll free number or PowrFone local number.
- Do I own the the local and toll free number you provide or does PowrFone?
Once a number has been assigned to you, you will have ownership of it. If you decide to change service providers, you must have the number transferred before canceling your service.
- How long does it take to get my custom 800 number up and running?
It will take 2 business days for a custom 800 number to be activated. Please allow this time to elapse and make sure the number is working before publishing your custom 800 number.
- I have callers from other countries who can’t always dial toll free. Can I also get a local number pointed to your service?
